Jane Lehane

A bit about myself. I am 24 years old and I have been working ten years in various part time/ full time roles within hospitality and customer service. This includes 4 years experience as a senior sailing instructor.

I studied Product Design in the National College of Art and Design achieving awards within my projects. I am a highly motivated and creative with a strong foundation in human-centered design, sustainable innovation, and technical expertise. I have excelled in combining aesthetics with functionality, winning awards such as the HSE Spark Innovation Scholarship and the Alternus Energy Sustainability Award. With hands-on experience in design thinking, prototyping, and problem-solving across diverse industries—from healthcare to renewable energy and hospitality to customer service—I thrive in collaborative and fast-paced environments. My proficiency in advanced CAD software, rapid prototyping, material optimisation, and teamwork skills enable me to deliver innovative, user-focused solutions that meet the highest standards.
